SEATTLE — On Sunday, a hair salon owner in Seattle was washing a customer’s hair when she noticed three people wearing “Scream” face masks outside her establishment.
“They look so scary with the Halloween masks on,” Jenny Nguyen commented to her friend, according to KIRO-TV.
The men then went into the Kingway Hair Salon, according to KING-TV. According to surveillance obtained by KIRO-TV, a man wearing a black hoodie pulled out a revolver and waved it at employees and customers.
The masked man can be heard saying, “Nobody move, nobody move.”
The individual requested money from Nguyen, according to KING-TV. According to KCPQ, she was also requested to grab all of the clients’ purses for them.
“When I think about it, I’m still shivering,” Nguyen told the news organization.
The armed robbery is being investigated by Seattle police, but no further information has been released, according to McClatchy News.
Scream masks became popular with the release of the 1996 film of the same name.
